  1. Yes, not getting sufficient rest (especially when it's all of a sudden), does make an anxiety issue become more severe. Try to relax before you go to sleep, and eat a balanced diet.

    Anxiety can cause a lack of sleep, and lack of sleep can make anxiety worse, so if you're on meds for it, continue to take them and try to rearrange your schedule so that you're getting enough rest.

    And yes, not enough sleep tends to make you more alert.  But please don't worry about it, I read reports of people not being able to sleep for many nights but still do well.  Don't believe me?  Do a search on the net about the "longest without sleep" people.

  5. Short answer, if you are not getting any sleep at all, after three days, see your medical practitioner, let them know you cannot sleep and why.

  9. Yes. When you don't sleep enough, your ability to think clearly is impaired, which would, indeed, lead to heightened anxiety, among other things. Please rest well.

    sleeping can lower anxiety levels ;)

  11. yes, because being fatigued makes your nerves less stable, and makes you jittery.. NO GOOD

  12. i believe so. if you have anxiety its hard to sleep cuz yer thinking and analyzing the problem so much and when you dont sleep the next day will be a very bad day. haha
