  1. Deal with it.  You're underage and your parents have the final say-so.

My advice to you is not ruin your life and finish high school and actually get a diploma.  Don't be a lazy bum who settles for a G.E.D. and wonders why you can't find work then you live on the welfare system and let people like me pay for your luxuries.

  2. it is better you get your high school diploma because now a days certain jobs ask you if you have a high school diploma what is the reason you want to switch schools

  3. Honestly, I agree with what other have said about the importance of getting a high school diploma.  It's just too important to be without these days.  Trust me, high school is hard for a lot of people, you are not alone.  But quitting is not the answer.  However, to answer your question, it will depend on your age and the laws in your state.  In my state, you can drop out at 16 with a parents permission, but have to be 18 to quit on your own.  If you are under 16 and quit qoing to school, that is considered truancy and is punishable by law, meaning they can put you in a juvenile detention center if the judge thinks that is the best thing for you, and make you finish school in there.

  4. Vala,

Don't listen to the other answers. Homeschooling is very easy. GEDs can be good, because you can do community college classes. I've been considering getting a GED. When you homeschool, you can make your own high school diploma, as long your parents write it up. You can get a GED with parent permission (but i don't know, GED is normally for adults that dropped out of high school). hslda.com is a website that tells you what the laws of homeschooling in your state. And this website:http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/ has tons of advice on  getting started. myGED.com has info and practice tests for GED taking. Hope this helps.
