  1. they do take volunteers who are over 40, depending on the kibbutz, but officially the age range is between 17-32 years old this is fairly flexible .Each individual kibbutz will have there own policy on age and its best to contact them regarding this.also depending on the pro gramme you decide to go on.also i know that many kibuttzim are doing away with volunteers as the goverment has become very strict with foreign workers and its harder these days to get a longer visa.

    you can contact a very knowledgeable ex kibbutz volunteer with vast knowledge,his name is John Carson, his e mail is kibbutzvolunteer @ gmail.com   and ask him all concerns you might have, i dont know him, never met the man, but got his e mail address for you from the internet.

    Most kibbutzim do not want older people, unless they are very well off and contribute most of their wealth to the kibbutz.
