Can one Ecstasy pill kill you?

I am thinking of trying it, but I am scared I could be allergic to it and die or something because people who have done it talked about the allerigc thing a lot.

But they also said you really can't die from just one, it would take at least 3 to actually kill you... I really have no idea...

But does anyone know like if you can actually DIE or get hospitalized from 1?

My school is ecstasy central. The only way you'll die from just one is if you are allergic to it or something. That much of pure meth is unlikely to kill you, much less ecstasy. Ecstasy, believe it or not, is a pretty safe drug.

Yes, taking 1 can kill you (it does and has happened). Why would you want to put that stuff into your body anyway and take the risk that it could kill you?

Yes, it can kill you.  You could be allergic or just have a bad reaction, the pill you get could be badly made or contaminated with something, or you could do something really stupid while you're high and get yourself killed.  Even if the drug doesn't kill you, it can cause severe, irreversible damage, including brain damage.  Do you want to suffer for the rest of your life because of one little pill?

Yes, go down to the cemetery and ask the ones who thought it would not. It has nothing to do with drinking alcohol or anything. The big problem and what is the main cause of death is that you do not know what is actually in it. If you take it and survive be prepared for the brain damage that will make your feel like you died. I work as a nurse and have seen many people of all ages who die from it and are also left brain damaged. The worst thing is having to ring or face the loved ones waiting to take the person home and being told they died. This is a big decision and are you prepared for the consequence, its like once you pull the trigger of a gun you cannot recall the bullet. Life is short enough why waste it on the hearsay of other idiots

yes if you have a bad allergic reaction to it you can die or have a lot of bad reactions from it, but you most likely wont OD on just one if that's what your thinking

MDMA= ecstasy

Most people who die while under the influence of MDMA have also consumed significant quantities of at least one other drug. The risk of MDMA-induced death overall is minimal.

The use of MDMA can be dangerous when combined with other drugs (particularly monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and antiretroviral drugs, in particular ritonavir). Combining MDMA with MAOIs can precipitate hypertensive crisis, as well as serotonin syndrome which can be fatal.

Also, continuous activity without sufficient rest or rehydration may cause body temperature to rise to dangerous levels, and loss of fluid via excessive perspiration puts the body at further risk as the stimulatory and euphoric qualities of the drug may render the user oblivious to their energy expenditure for quite some time. Diuretics such as alcohol and caffeine may exacerbate these risks further.

In a nut shell:

-If you're going to take ecstasy, just take one for your first time, and don't mix it with any other drugs or alcohol at all.  

-Make sure you're not on any of the drugs that it interacts with badly. (some are common antidepressants)  

-If you're going to dance or anything, make sure you stay hydrated and take rests.

-Try not to go out in public where police officers are and definitely do not drive.

-Have fun, it's a good experience.
