My husband and I are in our early 20s, so very young. Recently he went crazy and is blaming everyone for things he causes and downright acts possessed by the devil. Finally, he agreed to move in with his mother because he does not want to be with me. I was thinking drugs/mental insanity. My mother in law says he does not need it, but I am convinced he needs to be committed. How can I get this done?

  1. The only way that you can have him committed is one of these 3:

    1. You can convince a judge that he is a danger to himself or others.

    2. You have power of attorney over him.

    3. He admits that he needs help and goes in willingly.

If you have a counselor, ask him or her to help you take an honest look at the situation. Relay everything he's doing as accurately as possible without inserting emotion or personal opinion into it and see what he/she thinks. And if all else fails, wash your hands of him until he's feeling "normal".

  2. the austin police dept were called to my home by some family members casue they thought i was a bout to commit suicide once. i had no choice and was sent away in cuffs and was in a mental hospital for a week

  3. No offense but you sound a little..ummm bitter maybe? Maybe you guys were just having marital problems? Many many people go a little nuts while the marriage is falling apart.

  4. Are you a Christian?  Sheesh... how typical
