  1. I was born into the Y-Generation, and because of that, I consider myself pretty tech-savvy. If I sit down with any electronic, I can figure it out in an hour or two.


  2. Do you mean 8 hours of determined work using the owners manual?

    Maybe.

    It took me about 30 hours to learn how to control a 35 mm camera's f/stop, shutter speed and follow focus methods  over a three day period

  3. Yes and no. What I mean is that anyone can learn (if he wants to) all the functions of each buttons and menu--however, without knowing some photography theory, such as knowing why larger aperture results in shallower depth of field, it doesn't give practical experience to solve the problem (to work around the limitation of the camera / lens) on the spot.
