  1. 99% of participants in those pyramids lose money, so effectively, the answer is no, one cannot make a living selling Mary Kay or any of that other MLM junk. That 1% of the people who got in early 30 years ago make money doesn't indicate that anyone else can or will. The fact that nobody BUT them makes that money is proof enough, isn't it?

Most people walk away either barely breaking even or in debt from their inventory purchases ("because you can't sell from an empty wagon!" they tell you).

  2. Yes you can make a good living selling Mary Kay.  You need to understand that it's a business not a job.  I read an article that can help you with a few things on this business.  If you would like to read it and learn a few things, then click onto this link.  If you don't want to read it, then don't click onto it.

  3. Ditto the first answer.  It sounds great and the products are great, but it takes a huge amount of effort to constantly be trying to get people to host parties and to be constantly recruiting other people so you can earn from their earnings, etc.  Even as a seasoned Realtor, I found this to be a very difficult way to earn a few extra dollars.  Some people do make it big though.  There is a pink Cadillac in our town right now.

  4. Yes  one can make a living and a very good one at that.  It all depends on how hard you want to work as with any business you have to earn it people tend to have negative attitude toward working hard for yourself however people will give up lots of time and devote their time to make someone else's business successful.  I meet a National that has retired from Mary Kay on 6 million dollars family security plan this is what the company is paying her in retirement she paid nothing into it so this is income in addition to the 9 million she earned now yes not everyone is that successful but the opportunity is there if you want to work for it.

  5. One could, but most do not.

  6. Absolutely!  :)
