I am moving out of country and going to L.America, where stroller choices are very narrow. I'd like to bring my main stroller with me. They recommend using an umbrella stroller that I can check in at the gate, but I was wondering if I could use a regular collapsible stroller as well. Don't want to buy an umbrella just for one travel+my baby doesn't sit well yet.

  1. Yes, you can bring any stroller. I traveled with my son and I brought his "main" stroller and it was no problem. I think they suggest the umbrella strollers because the are fast and easy to fold while passing through security. i checked it at the gate and they didn't say anything to me about it.

  2. You can use what you like! If they get big clunky wheelchairs on then they'll get your pushchair in the luggage hold...I went to Australia and my collapsible was massive and heavy...they cannot penalize your babies transport.
