Can one work at a night club and make money?

Unless you offered to work for free I'm guessing they'd have to pay you.

Put myself through college as a bartender and bar back.  Key is to get at a place where you make decent tips...and where waitresses tip you.

YES  you can make money...  if you are a waitress you will get 1/2 min wage and your tips...  remember you are giving the best service you can so you can get the biggest tip your patron will leave...  

service = tips

If you are a bartender you will also receive tips but may also receive min wage....

Yes you can Your money will be in your tips. Look around to find a club that caters to people with money and that will spend it.Actually you can get yourself through school if you budget budget budget.Be frugal. Remember, you are a student so spend like one.
