Can onyone help?

Question

it goes to the windows screen w/ the little blue bar goin avross then it goes to a blue screen that says -

stop: c0000221 {bad image checksum}

the image urlmon.dll is possibly curropt the header checksum does not match the ( something i cant remember ) checksum.

plz help. this comp. has all my games and stuff on it. thnx.

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . The next time you turn your computer on, try pressing F8 when it is booting up (sometimes I press it repeatedly).  If you press F8 at the right time it will give you a choice of how you would like to continue booting.

There is one choice that has something to do with "Last know good configuration" or something to that effect.  Pick that one and see what happens!
