Question:

Can operating a computer in a humid envirnoment damage it .?

i need to know this as i want to shift my computer where there is a little high humidity because a watercooler is operating there .the temp where i live is 32 centigrade today but it goes as high as 45 or 46 centigrade .so please answer .thank you everyone

  1. yups.. Environmental conditions – especially humidity – can directly affect the functioning and performance of computers…

    Relative humidity levels between 45% and 60% are best for computing environments. Laptops may be able to go to a more extreme 30%-80%, but never use a computer beside or near an actual humidifier.

    and also for the temperature.. it will be better if you can keep between 18 - 25 degrees celcius and maximum on 30 degrees celcius.
