Can our baby have both our last names?

Can our son have both our last names? if so how would that go? For example lets say my husbands last name is : Oliver and mine is Grant and our sons name will be David, so how would his name go???

Just asking because my husband keeps saying that my last name goes first then his?? Im sooo confused!!!

  1. That's usually the way it goes but it's whatever you two agree on, my dad's middle name is his mom's maiden name she was Irish and that was her families way of doing it.  

    David Oliver Grant would be a powerful name he sounds like a business guru already........lol good luck!!!!

  5. it can go either way... oliver-grant or grant-oliver.... whichever you prefer. there is no right way to have it written.

  6. why not?  there is no rule.  however, the fact that you cannot agree on this means that your relationship has some very big communication & control issues.  get some counseling before your bring this baby into  your mess.
