Can owners do anything?

Question

I'm an owner (with the little blue crown), but I don't see any management options (or anything with any remote useful function really).

How do I manage anything?

once you click that, page loads- left side is group activity = logs. you can see whose doing what and when

right side if group settings- depending on what you want to change/ alter, here is where you do it. just be careful when or if you see red text- those are warnings of changes that cant be reversed

Click management lower left column at your site, click on everything and you will learn what you can do.  You can also click edit on your cover page beside description then change the cover photo, the welcome message and  add custom colors.  The best way to learn is to play with everything.  Have fun.
