Can paintball guns be taken on the airport

i wanted to go to teas this summer but wondering can i take my paintball gun on the plane

You cannot take it in your carryon baggage. It must be checked.

From TSA, you would do well to print these off and put them in your luggage with your marker(s) and keep a copy with you.

you'd have to put it in your baggage under the plane. I suggest you also dismantle it as much as possible before packing it. However you would not be allowed to take your air canister on the plane.
