Can paper towels (used) be put into a vermi-composting bin?

  1. You can put paper towels into a wormfarm, however you need to consider what is absorbed into the paper towels as well.

  2. I think it depends what you're using it for.  It's processed with bleach and other chemicals and I for one wouldn't use the compost around vegetables and fruit trees, but in the north forty it would probably be fine.

    I don't think it would hurt the worms in the long run.  But in any case, I switched over to clothe napkins awhile back.  But I do toss my unbleached coffee filters in my compost bin along with the grounds.
