  2. The probably won't last long in the wild if they were domesticated. Some of the bigger Parrots have lived outside, as in the ones in S.F. CA and in Southern CA, where the weather is  warmer. I don't think a parakeet is strong enough.

  3. i think they do exist in the wild, but i'm not sure. i think they live in hot places like australia.  

  4. Yes, you can find wild parakeets (called budgerigars in other parts of the world) around inland Australia. For more information:

    Though it probably wouldn't be a good idea to force your domestic, captive budgerigar to live out in the wild - it most likely wouldn't survive as it's not used to finding its own food and water!
