Question:

Can parra eels become premiers soon?

I am following eels for last four year. And every year they give me a feel that they are the top team with all big stars. But they are failing to deliver.

Is it lack of confidence from players in pressure, bad luck or something else?

  1. After the close loss at Brisbane, we (Parra) will win the next 5 games in a row easy - yes, we could win it this year!!!!

  2. I'm not a parra fan but i thought this season they'd be big.. but it hasnt been that way, now they have found their feet but is it a litte too late...?

  3. Definitely in there with a big chance at the top 4. As previously mentioned it was this time last year when we beat the tigers and went on a huge winning streak. I think the same will happen this year.

Last year we were unlucky to come up against Melbourne who were unstoppable last year but too be honest i dont think they are at all this year.

If Finch and Mateo stay fit and our backline with the likes of Inu, Hayne, Burt, Tautai stay fit i really think we are in with a chance.

Parra also just need to show some spirit when playing at home... and the fans need to turn out to really make playing at Parra stadium a dreaded thing for other teams.

Also we need to get rid of the games at ANZ. All HOME games should be at Parra.

    GO YOU EELS!

  4. parra didnt choke or have bad luck in last year preliminary final. they lost in a close hard fought game. yes they can win the comp this year, they just need the right attitude, and thats always been parras problem. they have always had the skill, but are to often inconsistent. if your looking for hope for winning this year, just remember that this is looking the exact same as last year (without tahu unfortunately). this year and last they had a slow start, and finished the season on fire, and they have shown signs of it last few weeks. it also worth noting that them beating the tigers today was almost the exact same as last year against the tigers, roughly at this point of the season. also think that melbourne and manly are not as far ahead of everone this year, parra are only 4 poits behind.

so basically if parra can keep their game faces on for the rest of the year (however im going to expect one more mini slump), the could definately win

  5. they are pretenders,

  6. At the start of the season Parra were ranked No. 2. Just behind Melbourne, and last year Parra were the only team really capable of knocking off Melbourne, we need something special maybe a NEW CEO for instance!

  7. I don't they they will, but you never know

  8. No, they are like St George and promise so much but deliver little.

  9. Not wif the worst coach in da comp

  10. they defenantly have the team on paper.

but they gotta work hard and stay consistent.

theyve got the skill to beat teams, but when it comes down to the tough games when they have to grind it out they can never seem to do it. when they start doing that. theyll win.

  11. Parramatta's window is closing. The team that Noel Cleal assembled in the early 2000's (that made a GF) are almost all gone, and the remaining plaryers from that team are getting old now.

I think this year is the last chance for Parramatta before they  under go a rebuilding faze, since they are set to loose a few more good players at the end of this season.

Parramatta wont win the comp this year, but they have a small chance if they keep playing hard.

  12. OF COURSE THEY CAN............PARRAMATTA EELS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
