  1. no.

  2. NO

  3. No, I don't think so. Normally, pawns move once twice (if 1st move) then at their next turn they capture. In En Passant, if the attacker captures a piece next to a pawn that hasn't move yet, then it - the pawn- can go sideways and capture the piece that captured the piece next to the pawn. Hope I helped!

  4. no you can't do that, you can move one or two squares the first move only, what you are asking is making two separate moves on your turn which you can't do

  5. In addition to the two square advance option, a pawn has one other special move.  The "En Passant" move is rare.  I direct you to the following website for an explanation with visual aid.

  6. No, that is not an allowed move.

  7. No.  The following pawn moves are legit:

    1) any time: if square in front of pawn free, move up 1

    2) 1st move only: if both squares in front of pawn free, move up 2

    3) capture opponent's piece diagonally left or right

    4) and finally, if your pawn is on 5th row, and opponent pushes a pawn up 2 (as in #2) so that it ends up next to your pawn, your pawn may capture that pawn.  it doesn't end up at that space however - it ends up either to the left of that space or to the right of that space (space must be free as well.)  that move is called "en passant".

  8. You need help from the official laws of chess from the international chess federation Use the link below.  you want article three section seven, the pawn.

  9. No you can't move a pawn forward and then diagonal in one move. You can only move a pawn 2 forward or 1 forward or 1 diagonal on the first move. They only go one direction at a time. You have to wait for either your next turn or see if another piece is available to do what you want to with the pawn.
