I have a grape arbor next to a young pear tree. Today I found 2 pears growing on the same vine as some grapes. How is this possible?

  1. There is a way to train semi-dwarf fruit trees to grow on wire or cable. A few posts are driven into the ground and a wire is stretched between them. As the tree grows it is tied onto the wire with cotton cloth strips. The wire is four or five feet off the ground.

  2. Sounds like those grapes are producing some strong wine. Stick to 2 glasses next time.

  3. no

  4. thats weird.  pears grow on trees, but I suppose it could be possible that the pear tree pollinated the grape vine, and that would be some sort of weird hybrid.

  5. I found an oyster growing on my apple tree!

  6. Its not possible, are you sure you didnt mistake one branch for another?
