  1. No.

    Imran {3:91}

"Those who disbelieve and die as disbelievers, an earthful of gold will not be accepted from any of them, even if such a ransom were possible. They have incurred painful retribution; they will have no helpers. "

    Nisa {4:18}

"Not acceptable is the repentance of those who commit sins until death comes to them, then say, "Now I repent." Nor is it acceptable from those who die as disbelievers. For these, we have prepared a painful retribution."

But in the end, only Allah knows.

  2. u cant do stuff if your dead

  3. Everyone becomes a believer after the Resurrection. Consequentially those who's works did enough for them to escape the hellfire but not enough to go to paradise will be in Purgatory. According to the Quran they will look upon the punishment in h**l and Implore God to have Mercy on them and grant them Redemption and a place in his Kingdom. After a predetermined time God will Merge the Purgatory with the Lower Paradise.

  4. Although I donot have any verses to quote from the Quran it is my understanding that Heaven and h**l will be awarded to one in the afterlife based solely on the deeds that the individual did during his lifetime. Death closes all chapters and also closes the gates of repentence.

  5. Yes the quran says they all become believers when they're in jahannam. However Allah will not listen to them. Quran basically says the kaffirs will be in jahannam and asking for mercy. Then the angels will ask if they were given warnings on earth and they'll say yes we were. Then the angels say that now they will taste the punishment for ignoring the clear signs that were given when they were alive.

  6. peace MomOf4,

nobody will have the temerity to disbelieve once they are faced with the final reality. however, it will be too late for the salvation of those who actively disbelieved.

    (006:027)

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"

because even now they lie (as they had lied before)

    (006:028)

Yea, in their own (eyes) will become manifest what before they concealed. But if they were returned, they would certainly relapse to the things they were forbidden, for they are indeed liars.

in deed god has the knowledge of what has happened, what will happen and what may hypothetically happen. he has always known which ones of us truly believe and which of us will never believe. the life in this earth is a test to make evident to ourselves those who are pious amongst us and those who are the transgressors. thus, on the day of judgment, none of us may say that we had not been given a chance. god says in the qur'an:

    (007:172)

When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful":

this is the covenant that god took from all of humanity before they were sent on earth. it is thus that islam states that innately every human being is cognizant of the truth from earth. they are born muslim, submitting to god. however, many lose their way in the amusements of the life on earth. they in deed are the real losers.

    (004:168-169)

Those who reject Faith and do wrong,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way-

Except the way of h**l, to dwell therein FOR EVER. And this to Allah is easy.

    [emphasis added by me]

    allahu alam

    (god knows best)

  7. i dunno much about the quran, except that it says the Islamic faithful are the ones whom will recieve the promise of Abrahamic covenant[all that is god's will be yours]....but firts let me state in my belief there is very few going to h**l any way...shedding of innocent blood without repenting, and the unforgivable blaspheme against the holy ghost is all that is hellbound.  so coming from that belief, those will have a h**l of a time to find the necessary grace to repent and trancend into heaven.  oh i forget to mention our bodies recurrected and reunited with our spirits is automatic for EVERYONE even the hellbound....the scipture teaches us the truth in baptism for the death, , , start there for your answers.

  8. Its obvious that after death everything would be apparent and people would have no choice but to believe what is apparent and what is real.....that is, to finally realize the existence of Allah.

  9. Say, 'O My servants who have sinned against their souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah, surely, Allah forgives all sins. Verily, He is Most forgiving, Ever Merciful; (39:53)

To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He pleases, and punishes whom he pleases. And Allah is Most Forgiving, ever Merciful. (48:15)

  10. sadly no, once u die then the "test" is over too late to go back.

  11. No one  can become Believers after death.Once we are dead there will be another life "Life after death". There are so many Qur'anic verses which supports Life after death....

Suppose if a non-Muslim dies and say the shahadah at the time of his death he will die as the non-Believer.Though Allah swt will not accept his or her repentance at the time of the death for example the story of the pharoah aththe time of Bani israil when the flood came  he started saying Shahaadah though Allah swt didnt accepted it. Believers will be Believers and non-believers will be non-Believers.

I would like to reccomend you to to go through Qur'an and read the english translations and hereby you can read books on ''Life after Death. If you want I  can e-mail you the books and lectures on it.

  12.      I don't know the Quran, but the spirit you had while in the flesh, shall not be changed upon death.  If you don't believe in God or his Son, your spirit will have it's same free agency on the other side and you won't accept him on the other side either.

  13. No.  There is no 'after death'.  Death is the end of you, the end of your life, so there is nothing after it, by definition.  You just cease to exist.

  14. No. After death; if a man died as non-believer; he has no further chance. It is a matter fo justice. Allah cannot put a man lived in adultery and wine; in equality with a man who died praying.

The Quran gives us a refernce about "Being too late" as Allah says:

"And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh with his hosts pursued them in rebellion and transgression, till, when the (fate of) drowning overtook him, he exclaimed: I believe that there is no Allah save Him in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who surrender (unto Him). "

Pharaoh of Moses actually believed in God before he dies but Allah replied:

" Now!? When hitherto thou hast rebelled and been of the wrong-doers? " YUNUS - 11:12

Allah also says about the last chance to repent:

"Until, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) " 56:83.

  15. This is not an easy question to answer. The details of this question are too long as there are principles which you must understand pertaining to Tawheed.

A person may die upon an act of Kufr but not be a Kaafir. However Allaah has affirmed in the Qur'aan that the Kuffaar are destined for h**l.

So the answer is no concerning the Kuffaar as Allaah mentioned many times about this in the Qur'aan.

And the answer is yes for the one who dies upon an action of Kufr but is not a kaafir.

  16. The Quran states that there is no forgiveness after death. However, we have the free will and choice before that to be believers or not.... Who can read the Quran and it's scientific miracles and become a non believer?

  17. The Qur'an does talk about this.  God can and will eventually forgive us but once we die, it is too late for our own actions to merit repentance.

    Al-An`am Chapter 6 : Verse 28

And if thou couldst only see when they are made to stand before the Fire! They will say, 'Oh, would that we might be sent back! And then we would not treat the Signs of our Lord as lies and we would be of the believers.'

However, as long and as painful h**l might be, a million billion years, it is not eternal.  God's Mercy encompasses all things, even His punishment.

love for all, hatred for none
