Caffeine is also the same substance that makes people addicted to coffee

yes, due to the amount of caffein in coke, a single dose will not cause addiction but after as you say "tonnes" you may get addicted and continually feel the urge to drink coke.

It's not the Coke - it's the caffeine.  Try to wean yourself off gradually and start drinking non-caffeinated stuff.  Caffeine slows the body's absorption of calcium, so you will get brittle bone when you're too young.
