  1. Ebonyruffles has it correct. Death can occur if they drink too  much too fast.

  2. They get alcohol poisoning, which causes shock, then death.

  3. Some years ago now a local kid killed himself by alcohol poisoning. The stuff just closed his lungs down, apparently.

While I was out last night some young girl was flapping around on the ground like a fish out of water and struggling to breathe while her friends did absolutely all the wrong things to try to get her under control. Puke everywhere. She stunk to high heavens.

    What a babe, eh? LOL

I just stepped over the silly cow.

I despise drunks. Especially when they litter the place up and flap around looking dopey.

  4. Alcohol is like a tranquilizer that slows down the body, and the effects take time to feel. Someone drinking for the first time might drink too much before they realize they've had too much, not spacing out their drink and all of a sudden it can hit them. They can go into a coma and if it's bad enough, never wake up. The body shuts down, some say to prevent someone from drinking more, but if the liver doesn't work fast enough to break down the alcohol, they get alcohol poisoning or "shock" and it could kill them. When someone passes out, it's to prevent this stage, but if it's really bad, they won't wake up again which is why most college fraternities no longer permit forcing members to drink to excess due to all the deaths.

  5. Can people go into shock when being drunk for the first time?

yes, if they are allergic to alcohol.

if so, what are some of the things they do?

depending on the severity of the allergy, it can range from a minor rash (usually on the face) to trouble breathing or death.

  6. You might be talking about anaphalatic shock.. Sorry i cannot spell it but its when too much alcohol is consumed into your body and your bodies not used to it.. This can happen with first time alcohol users yes.. I'm not sure what it does but im sure the person having the shock needs to go to hospital.. most poeple with anaphalatic shock faint i know that much :) xx
