Can people have bad handwriting in Chinese?

Question

You know how some people have really poor handwriting that you can hardly read it? Is it the same thing for writing in chinese? I was watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_VTOAf7ZZM&NR=1 and it got me thinking about it.

Any ideas?

Now, I can only answer this from personal experience. I went to China last year and did a Chinese writing class and they are very big on the Calligraphy style of handwriting, and so it would suggest that those that don't write with that style would have "messy" writing. I do remember looking at my tour guides handwriting and thinking to myself that it was pretty messy (that was based on what Chinese script I had actually seen).

Oh yes.  I am Chinese and I have bad handwriting, in both Chinese and English. =(

Yes and sometimes their spelling is wong also
