Can people in America get BBC iplayer and watch programs without paying?

Even if you could, it would be illegal because we don't pay the tv license free to watch bcc programming.

legally, you cannot even use the BBC website (the UK version)  without a TV licence - strange but true. however, they'd never find out.

As for the iplayer, it only works in the UK at the moment although it represents a potentially very  lucrative source of income for BBC worldwide if they made it pay-per-view internationally, they'd get a lot of people wanting to watch TopGear, Newsnight etc.

no - iplayer works only in the UK - there are plans to sell iplayer to non-uk residents.

anyway - you should be boycotting the tv license like everyone else.
