Can people learn your IP address from myspace?

Question

I know that they don't give your your exact location, but I'm still curious if people can find the address from general sites, or from instant messages.

I agree with the above. But seriously, unless you are 14 and a really attractive female, what do you have to worry about? It's funny how people are so insecure about this stuff with the internet.

yes they can, all they need to do is have a hit counter with tracker abilities and they know ur ip address, it also tells where what city/state u live in and ur internet service provider, but that's about it, they wont know ur name or who u are
