The rise of atmospheric temperature of course the arctic ice is melting and thus the earths natural reflecting shield which reflects huge amounts of the Sun's rays is being melted away fast. This increase is continuous and fast in regards the temperature and will be fatal as close as 4-5 years to us on a large scale.

And none of this is bs, http://suprememastertelevision.com/bbs/board.php?bo_table=holidaycard&wr_id=112&url=link1_0

Probably the most damaging source of pollution comes from cows digestive emissions which of course contain methane. Since in this world we mass breed them for the need of the consumer to devour their hamburgers and make billions, the result is that we literally have a mass producing methane machine which diets based on meat-eating is going to become quite fatal in a short amount of years.

And ironically as the ocean increases in temp it will cause methane as well in huge amounts to be released from the ocean, which will have the effect of poisoning...

  1. That is by far the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my entire life of hearing from global warming freaks....  Seriously I dont even feel bad about answering like this... but wow, thats stupid.  We have canines for a reason.  And if you want to keep your brain from deteriorating, you're going to need some protien other than peanut butter.  The methane level isnt increasing... because methane breaks down in UV light.  The fact that there is any methane at all indicates that methane is constantly being produced, and is constantly being destroyed.

I am against the idea of being vegetarian because it isnt natural.  You would be suprised how nice you feel when you run on protien instead of leaves.  Your only other protien sources are peanut butter, and dairy, which are both higher sources of saturated fat.  Besides, they arent that high in protien either.  Maybe you get some kind of protien shake, I dont know... but meat is good for you, and we are meant to eat it.  Its not our fault we cant easily go out and get our own meat, and we have to buy it in a store.

  2. You point is very valid! However, I don't think the majority of people will change their diets. We have cut out red meat, but can't quite come at giving up dairy. My children have switched to goats milk, as this is both better for the environment, and better for their health. Goats have less impact on the ground (don't chop it up as much), produce much less methane, and have a much higher out put of milk per intake of food when compared to cattle. We also try to alternate between soy and cows milk for ourselves.

  3. I would say it is a very convincing idea.

I heard recently that the planet is not getting over heated, as many people think, because of Global Warming. Instead, the planet is expanding. That's why the continents match as a puzzle when put together, the Earth has been enlarging and consequently closer to the sun. This is theory, but makes sense... or not?

    Peace!

  4. You need to do what you do and let others do as they will. Please answer me this. I asked this question before, but the environmentalists did not answer.

Are you angry with people for killing millions and millions of bison, or you angry at people because we don't kill off millions of cattle.

If "nature" put all those bison on the Great Plains, why is it unnatural for us to leave, much smaller, cattle in our feed lots and ranges?

  5. yes yes I love your angle, lets get rid of all the cows to stop them farting forgetting that beef is not the only meat on the planet. I must admit I have tried to cut meat out of my diet but instead have only managed to change it. I do eat less red meat ( I do love red meat ) but on the whole I do not believe in the hype regarding global warming. THE PLANET HAS BENN GETTING HOTTER SINCE THE ICE AGE, certainly the rate of this warming may be slightly accelerated but its called evolution and species have been changing and dieing out since the began, time will tell if mankind will grow seven arms or simply vanish into a cloud of methanous dust, there are other things going on that we could pay more attention to.

  6. The cow f**t theory has been disproven long ago.  I am well aware of global warming, I'm not saying that is untrue, but it isn't caused by cow farts.  Plus, if we killed all the cows and just ate vegetation, we would have to grow more vegetation which means more diesel tractors belching out smoke and guess what.. more people farts too.  The number one source of problem is out of control burning coal veins.  There is a large one in China, one in CA and one in PA.   The one in PA has been burning since 1962 and has enough coal in it to burn for another 200 yrs.

You mention yogurt and cheese as protein sources... uh, how we going to get that without animal production?

  7. Please keep asking questions like this. The more silly the requests get, to curb things that have very little to do with global warming, the more people will realize it is an exaggeration. Hopefully it will make this issue go away. Before there were cows here there were many more bison farting away on the plains. The methane the cows produce is much less. Weather we need meat to survive or not is a moot point. It will not change global warming one bit. Well enjoy your diet, I have a nice hot roast waiting for me.

  8. That's an insane request...Meat provides essensial protiens that we need to be healthy.

  9. (Can people make the leap to Vegetarian based diets for the sake of the planet?)

Certainly, if you want (for the sake of the planet) to be a planet full of weakling, meat starved skinny little chumps.

In sports history there was a champion female tennis player whom became a vegetarian.  When she no longer was capable of defeating her opponents, her nutritionist told her she was simply being overpowered by her meat eating opponents.

  10. eating meat is an instinct, not eating ,meat is a choice.

Please don't force your illogical thoughts on us.

    Plus you smell funny

  11. Nope. This is the most absurd request I have ever heard.

  12. "Probably the most damaging source of pollution comes from cows digestive emissions which of course contain methane".

Correct me on this:  Isn't we achieved the same result should we adopt vegetarian lifestyle and f**t like those cows?  There were instances when I got pure vegetable diet in a week and notice frequent farting than when I balance out my diet with meat(mostly chicken and fish though).: )

  13. Al Gore is an idoit. Global warming does not exist!!!!

  14. No. And man is not smarter than God who gave us the meat to begin with.Grains are no more healthy than meat it is a choice, and we will never be able to feed all the masses just on grain.Look at history one or two bad growing seasons and you will be starving,no grains and no meat.Thinking people never put all their eggs in one basket. The dust bowl of the 30's proves that fact. You don't have to go to other countries,to get the info,America c0could not feed Americans,it was dire times indeed.

  15. Aside from all the foolishness you printed in this rant, could you please tell us just what it is that you propose to do with all the cattle that you want us to stop eating? Just roam free and over populate and wonder the roadways like the deer herds have done?

  16. Well yes, they can. What you mean is will they?

    Essential protiens? Prove it.

Burning coal veins!? Can you do anything about it, no. Your diet?

Leaving aside all the figures showing the massive contribution of the meat industry to GW. The Japanese are a very healthy buch on a vegan diet. OK, so they're not particularly tall, or obese, but they have low rates of heart disease and cancer.

Moving to a vegan diet will do more for the environment than changing to a hybrid car. I can no longer understand the attraction of a Big Mac

Isn't eating cow part of the American Constitution?

  17. You have made some good points but I think that you are over simplifying the situation. For example, it is not just a case of planting seeds and then eating the vegetables. There are huge amounts of pesticides and fertiliser involved, not to mention driving tractors and trucks (don't forget the manufacture) Also it is not true about cow farts. I am still laughing about how you put that we "breed cows so we can eat their hamburgers" Sorry, but it sounded really funny to me. And I think that you will find that Hamburgers are made from ham and that you are probably talking about beef burgers.
