Can people or parents still check the history of websites visited?

Just asking because...

i just dont want to be weird or anything or show my private stuff...

so if yes then i will quit doing stuff like chatting about stuff....yea...??

if i delete history can still someone check it?

cuz i know people can with cell phone txt messaging...right???

so wondering?

ya they can, but im not sure how but im pretty sure they can. but i think it might be like hard and long and junk but not sure it might be really easy i dont know, but i know there are ways to find

Yes people can look at your past history. You can deleate things, but I think if there is a parental block, when your parents log on they will get an email telling them something is deleated, you were looking at sexual related things, alcohol related, drug related etc.

I use firefox, and I have pretty much told it not to remember anything, which is kinda pointless for me because this is my computer, but its better than having some long list of junk in the search bar when others wish to use it.

And no one can check where I've been.

ya they can. but to erase it, click on ur favorites star,  then on the top bar it should say favorites, feeds, and history. u click history, then it should have the websites u visited from like 2 and 3 weeks ago, and wat ever folder u want to erase, right click on it and click delete.

When I want to know what sites have been visited, I check the logs in the router that connects all the computers in the house.  I can see every site visited by every computer along with the time and date.  A normal user can't get to them and delete them . . .

You have to delete cookies, temporary files, and history.

Even then it is not completely impossible, but very very difficult.
