  1. Can you? Of course you can, if a pollster calls you, just lie about your age. Do I suggest you doing this? Having worked on polls before, absolutely not. There is no law or rule stating you can't participate, but the people conducting the poll will ask if someone is home that is of age or will thank you and hang up. Also, they strongly prefer a registered probable voter. However, the choice to fib is ultimately yours.


  2. It depends on where they are.  Most polling places here don't check ID.  You just have to give a fake name and address.

  3. No they can't.  They have to be 18 or older.

  4. Officially no, but who's checking?  Of course they are participating. That's why the polls are often so off from what really happens.

    Yet politicos live and breath by them.  And The Media reports about them. And the Public believes them.

  5. Nope, the polls have to reflect the registered 18 and over voters.
