I'm not looking for tips on how to quit smoking, or lectures, I just need answers to a simple question( I don't mean to sound rude, I'm really not : ) ) . I am going on an international flight in a few days, and I am not 19, and I am taking cigarettes with me. Would I be able to take them with me in my carry on luggage without getting them taken away or the people making a scene of it. If someone knows a logical answer PLEASE let me know asap hehe. I would extremely appreciate feedback from people who have done this!

Thanks!

  1. You'll be more than fine. You cannot purchase them in the duty free store of course but your carryon is fine. I'm not 19 either and I take mine all the time on international flights. As long as you are carrying only ONE lighter and it is PROPERLY bagged.

  2. SEEING HOW THE LEGAL AGE TO PURCHAS CIGGERETTES IS 18, YOU SHOULD BEFINE.

  3. It's not summer camp. They don't care what you have as long as it's not harmfull to others, you should be fine.

  4. yep.they dont know whos bag it is.they will only check bags and confiscate things if there is something illegal in your bag.last week my friend who is 16 brought home a 2litre bottle of martini from her holiday and she got away with it,so you should be fine!

  5. TSA isn't there to check your age in regards to cigarettes. As long as the items in your carry on are not illegal or on the banned list (get one from your airline or from the TSA website) then they are not going to confiscate things.
