Can people who do not worship Jesus be saved?

Question

I am new to the bible and is trying to understand some basics. Jesus said those who worship can have their sin forgiven and hence saved. What does this mean to the majority of human beings who may have practice good deeds according to their conscience through their life but have not believed in Jesus? What does mean to humans before christ?

We do not get saved by good deeds...we get saved by the grace of God. It's about what Jesus did...not by what we do or don't do.

The first Christians believed in Universal salvation through Christ. In other words, all are saved, because the sacrifice was perfect. Modern Christians don't believe Jesus's sacrifice was perfect, therefore they believe there is more needed, faith, to fulfill Christ's sacrifice.

The present day Bible is not in ots original form. It is written by some greedy priest. The original bible is no more in this world. So dont worry. Also Christ was a prophet not a God, So no need to worship Christ. God needs to be worshiped and all people worship God in different forms.

Those who don't know Jesus through no fault of their own are judged by conscience (Epistle to the Romans). Those who don't know Jesus and it is their fault are judged for that, as also on conscience.

If only those who worship Jesus alone were to be saved all those who died before Jesus was born and even Jesus's parents should have been lost .May be even God is dislodged  and sent to h**l by the worshippers of Jesus !.Pooe Jesus , he was said to be a humble being till his followers earned him bad names through holy crushade and and indiscriminate abuse of other faiths allover the world . Many people do not even seem to understsnd that the first child of every woman is born of a virgin only and that the virgin can be impregnated by any man she sleeps with whether he is her husband or not . many seem to be ignorant of the fact that even God needs a male and female of every species of life to produce and young and that it was because of that god himself had created the two sexes in every being and particularly in the human species .So impregnating a woman without a male is impossible even to God , even to this day.

If Jeus had died for the sins of humanity , then nothing done by any man born after the crucification of Jeus could ever be a sin.The question of any accountabiltyu on the part opf any man and the need for any judgement day never arises.

Again , if man is not judged by his actions good or bad and that he is judged simply by his faith in Jesus , you will hav only sinners in tne world and again the need for any judgement day does not arise as no action need be accounted for .

In fact there is absolutely no need for any chrisitian to do anyting good for any being in the world for eternity as he believes in Jeus and gas there for no need to do anything good even as advised by th esame Jesus .

Human beings fall short of the glory of God and destined to be put in h**l because of disobedience.  Because God is a merciful God, He made a way, so that each one can regain the glory by acepting that the sins were taken and sacrificed by Jesus (instead of our death of soul), which was on us.  So whoever belives that jesus took all our sins on the Cross they will be treated as to be not destined to h**l (death of soul).  This gives confidence and provide the ability to live a sinless life. To overcome evil in this world we need God's word (Bible) to protect us and to lead a peaceful and victorious life.

And when you go to your father and tell him "Father i shall worship You"

If any of you Christians could have been at the time of Jesus Christ pbh...... And you would have had your chips if you could have told Jesus pbh .... " I want to worship you"....

Jesus said that those who are born again can enter heaven.  (see John 3)  He also said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me"..

He also said "Go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature..."  Why would He say that if they could be saved by ignorance, or through whatever way they chose.  It wouldn't make sense.

I am pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of those who have responded and the relative civility of those who disagree.  Am I still in Yahoo!?  The answer above that those who were born before Christ and anticipated Christ as Messiah were saved by their faith is correct.  So, too, is the notion that we are saved by our faith, which is an active and ongoing faith evidenced by how we live (how we care for the poor, the widows and orphans, and whether we seek to fulfill the Great Commission - i.e., bring as many with us as we can).  So we are not actually saved by our acts, but our acts follow our salvation in gratitude for Christ's sacrifice on our behalf.

Christianity is not the only religion in this world. The bible is inspired by no other than God himself. There are many religions in the world and each has a holy book inspired by God.Therefore it would be wrong to assume that that you can be saved only through Jesus Christ. I am LDS (thus will get lots of thumbs down), so my beliefs are different from main stream Christianity, though I am Christian and do believe in Christ.

I do not think God is unfair or cruel.  Those that lived as good a life as they could according to the knowledge they had, nad never had a knowledge of Christ, will be saved.

I believe God judges us on the intents of our heart and how well we lived our lives according to the knowledge we have in this life.

Believe it or not,  even the ones that believe in Him will be judged in their belief in Him.

It's not  in the way that you have "worshiped Jesus", it all boils down to the  way that your life's work has honored and obeyed God... and each and every one of God's children too. Did you love them all or did you absolutely hate some of them?

People before Christ were what is now judaism They believed in the old testement prophecy that there would be a messiah. he will be born of a virgin and he will die and rise again. they believed in this messiah who will be fully god and fully man, therefore when they died they went to Abrahams Bosom. Those who disnt believe in him went to h**l. When Jesus died on the cross, he went to Abrahams bosom and tok the souls there to heaven. this is the only way that pre-Christ people went to heaven.

Those who followed God before Jesus are promised Salvation and are considered the faithful.  Those who die before the age of accountability or who die never being given the opportunity to know of Christ are not punished.

However, those who reject Christ are not saved.  Good works do not save you.
