more than likely not, a pets natural instinct is not to have a shag carpet bed or pink castle. all they need is shelter food and care naturally. UNLESS THEY ARE SPOILED A** MUTHA F****S

No, pets and other animals are not materialistic. Their sole reason of being alive is for survival and continuation of their species. Other than basic needs for food and shelter, they could care less about other material belongings. However, animals who fight for territory would of course want a larger piece of land to claim as their own.
