It is a dual-phone that connects to PSTN land-line, or directly to Skype network over Internet, only.

It is not a SIP compatible VoIP phone that would allow customizable configurations with other "SIP compatible" VoIP services.  (Skype is not an open SIP based service).

Voipwise, is a SIP compatible VoIP service.
