Can physical attributes REALLY be attributed to your sign?

Question

I am just having a hard time with this after seeing the answers to some of the questions on here.

I am a Sadge and I am tall and thin/lean w. an hour glass shape . I do have a broad forehead, oval shaped head and eyes and that does fit the general description of the female Sadges body type. However...this is my families body type---it is in my genes. No one else is a Sadge but we are all tall w. broad foreheads & the girls are curvy!

Also there are two female Sadges at my job and one male Sadge and one of the female Sadges and the male Sadge are both very overweight. The other female Sadge is very very thin but has a very muscular body type and she is not tall. idk I just am having a hard time with this one.

Anyone care to explain!

I mean could a short round Cancer married to a short muscular Taurus have a tall and thin Sagittarius? LOL!

My dad is Aquarius and my mom is Capricorn and we are a mixture of their body types=Genetics??

Occum's Razor: When there are more than one explanation for something. If they are equal then you have to go with the simplest explanations. The laws of physics have to be changed to be able to make the other astrology statement true.

Edit: Bald headed men is an obvious physical attribute. Can this be because of certain signs?

Baldness is good example of recessive genes. It is more likely you will be bald not because of your father. But if you have an uncle on your mother's side that is bald it is more likely. Since my mom was an only child, this was unknowable. But my brothers and I have full scalps. Phew!

Yes, of course, genes play a factor; and it is the rising sign; other signs in the first house; the ruling planet  and placement of the rising sign; and a tad of the sun sign that you will see in the physical make-up AND which are a manifestation of the genes.

Cancer rising with ruling moon in Libra in the 3rd.  I also have Uranus in Leo in the first and a Sadge sun.  So, as you can imagine, I have a very unique appearance.

I think that the looks your rising sign gives you is to be taken within context. We obviously look like our families and the genes that were passed down. That is the ultimate factor...But I guess certain influences from the sign might show up in little ways. For example, as a Libra rising, I may have dimples, where my brother does not...Or my eyes are equally spaced apart from my nose, giving me a symmetrical face. So...Little things like that may show up...but ultimately, we look like the genes we got. But heck, I sure wish I looked exactly like the description of a Libra rising....It sounds perfect, lol. Though, I do dress well, and hold myself with good posture...So I guess if we don't look like our risings, we'll make up for it in other ways.

Genetics yes. However when compariing birth charts I noticed that people also have a tendacy to inherit certain planetary combinations. The Kennedys birthcharts are an excellent example. Astrology can be used to explain physical descriptions (although the usefulness for this is beyond me) however you use more than your sun sign and ascendant as depicted in the copied and pasted excerpt below. Chainlighting have you ever actually tried astrology to see if it works? You keep throwing around all of these things from scientists but you never test it for yourself. (otherwise the arguments would stop)Also what are you doing on here? I have seen you on here for months.If you dont believe in astrology than fine.But stop hovering around here trying to thrust your opinions on other people like you have doing because frankly most people here dont care. Do you see anyone over in astronomy shoving their ideals down peoples throats?
