Can pigs consume alcohol and if so how much....read please?

my reading class is doing a mock trial and my trial has to do with animal farm and I was wondering if a pig can consume alcohol sinse I'm supposed to be a expert since witness? can you please help

It won't kill them.

I've never pondered the technicalities - how many it would take to get a pig drunk, do they like beer or hards, etc - but I don't suppose that's vital.

I've seen rabbits and dogs drink a surprising lot, and while I don't condone it as a practice, none of them died from it. I can't say how much damage (if any) it does to the animal, but it's not going to kill them.
