Can plants release toxins in the air that can kill humans?

If so, what types of plants; how many would be necessary to kill humans? Could the plants destroy the anti-harm system that is built in humans?

actually some plants can release toxins that can harm humans. it is their self defense. I learned this in biology class this year. For example, opening the pit of a peach can release toxins harmful to humans. I couldn't believe it.

Certain plants produce fruits which when after intake can even coz death, even some leaves also can do the same. But directly on to the atmosphere they can harm you but cannot coz death.Thanks
