  1. Probably Not for three years but owner can sell a player to other team like in football league


  2. No they are bound to their team, they can only be bought or sold with the consent of owners of both the teams,similar to the  transfer window in club football.

  4. Nope - They can be traded to other teams and they cannot sign

    any contracts with in the IPL. But if any other similar

    tournaments go on elsewhere approved by ICC, then the same

    player can choose to other teams. But not within the IPL unless

    they are traded during the slot of time.

    I can assure you this, Royal Challengers will see many let go

    and more changes to happen including Dravid and Kumble.
