For the most part, Playmates are discouraged from getting new tattoos, unless they are of the playboy bunny. Some playmates were chosen already having tattoos, and it is up to the photographer and Hef to decide whether to keep it or not. Playboys are allowed to have tattoos, as long as they do not cover too much of the body (like an armband is okay), and they are not offensive to the general public.
