  1. What I suggest is to put this in outline form - main points, subtopics, and supporting points.  You have good ideas, you just need to expand on them a bit more.

The reason that I'm not going to add details is two-fold: first, the writing needs to be your own.  I'm assuming that your thesis statement is something about how getting rid of the TV helped you and your sister improve your time management?  That's the second reason I'm not going to add details - I don't know what your life was like with the TV, and I can't add details about two kids I've never met :)

However, I will help you figure out how to structure it.

    I. Removing television from our schedule helped my sister and I learn how to prioritize our time. (Not knowing your opening statement, I'm just making something up off the top of my head.)

         A. We found time to take advantage of personal interests and catch up on our reading.

         B. We found that we really enjoyed hobbies that we had ignored.

         C. We stopped procrastinating on our homework.

(and then summarize it with a restatement of how prioritizing your time is easier without the distraction of the TV.)

This is your first paragraph, or your opening paragraph.  It's where you state what you're going to talk about in your essay and get the reader interested in reading it.

II. We found plenty of time for personal interests.

        A. (What were those interests?  You could separate it out into your interests and your sister's interests, if you like.)

        B. Keep on going :)

        C. More interests - what were they?

        D. We found that we read a lot more that week.  (What did you read?  Did you enjoy the books?)

III. We also enjoyed some hobbies we had ignored for ages.

        A. What hobbies did you do, and how did you like them?

        B. What hobbies did your sister do?

        C. Did you find anything that you could work on together?

        D. Do you think you'll keep those hobbies up?

IV. My sister and I both stopped procrastinating on our homework.

         A. What benefit did you find out of this?  More free time?  Mom was easier to deal with when you didn't waste time?  Sense of achievement?

         B. Keep going with this - answer one question per sentence.

         C. And again :)

         D. Do you think that this is a habit you'd like to keep up?

Now, go on to your conclusion.  It can be short, but should sum up your three points (one sentence each) to let your reader know that you're ending the paper now.  That way, you don't "leave them hanging" and your mom will be impressed with your structure :)

When you need to write things like this, the easiest way to do it is to ask questions like the ones I did above.  Jot down a quick outline before starting, even if you need to just put questions in for the subpoints (A, B, C, D).  This will help you in structuring your essay and make it a lot less painful :)

    Good luck!

  2. No offense, but your writing needs a lot of work.  Rather than trying to cheat off the internet, please do yourself a favor and learn how to do this yourself.

You might be very smart, but your writing is a reflection of you, and your reflection based on this writing is not very flattering.

Also, you might have something very interesting to say, but teachers will have a hard time paying attention to your ideas if they have to work really hard to read the words.

    Good luck!
