Can police staff (civilians working for the police) be members of political parties?

Excluding the BNP, can non-sworn in staff members of police forces belong to any political party they wish?

  2. I think they can.  But they might be a bit biased?  I dunno.  Wouldn't fancy them in my party if had one ^.^

  3. Just because a person works with or is a peace officer, doesn't mean that they forgo their political rights.

    Of course they can, it should be noted that some organizations are looked down upon as not compatible with the law enforcement department, but strictly legal political organizations are the right and choice of the individual.

  5. Yes , some of them even infiltrate

    the Peace Movement and activist groups

    to report back information on members

    and planned events!
