Can positioning your glasses incorrectly worsen your vision?

Nope.  Glasses just focus light onto the right part of your eye; they don't change your visual acuity.  Positioning them incorrectly may give you some headaches or eyestrain, though.  If positioning your glasses differently helps you see better, you probably need a new prescription and should see your optometrist.

positioning your glasses incorrectly, no matter if you are near or far sighted will affect your vision, not necessarilly worsen it but it won't help things either.
