  1. That sounds like something you do not want to do.  Can't you just pull the plant out?

  2. Yes and everyone elses as well.

  3. Yes, it will hurt your well. Along with everyone else in the area that has wells on the same aquifer. So will used motor oil, gasoline and diesel fuel.

Every one of these things are ENVIROTOXIC. That means, it will kill plants, animals and people, and render an area uninhabitable in sufficient quantity, which isn't much.

Pull the plant out by hand. If it's a tree, call an Arborist. If it's a stump, rent a stump grinder.

  4. i wouldn't recommend doing that.just pull the plant out if you can.

  5. If you are using sulfuric acid out of a bottle, the greatest danger is burning yourself!  It is very corrosive!  If you intend to use the sulfuric acid from an actual battery, then you could seriously poison your well and the ground water that feeds your well with lead.  It is very toxic!

DON'T USE BATTERY ACID TO KILL PLANTS!

Here is an excerpt from the Shades of Green Nursery in San Antonio, TX web page for controlling unwanted plants:

    http://www.shadesofgreensa.com/organic_p...

    "Weed Control

Pre-emergent corn gluten meal applied prior to seed germination

Existing Orange oil/vinegar mix (2 tbsp. orange oil per gallon of vinegar plus1 tbsp. of liquid dish soap) makes a NON-SELECTIVE herbicide."

  6. Depends what the well is made out of, if it's wood, then yes. If it is made out of rock and mortar, no not really but don't over do it. It will definitely get rid of that plant!
