Goodness gracious look at these answers!  Fish and Omega 3 fatty acids are GOOD for your baby!  Yes, you need to not eat more than 6 oz per week and no uncooked fish, but you don't have to swear it off for 9 months.  I eat one fish meal per week and I am pregnant. Just avoid the types of fish that tend to have too much mercury. Even sushi is fine if it is cooked.  Potato chips and ice cream are worse for your baby than fish.
