  1. girl why ask why just roll with it,you'll get that chore back soon enough

  2. Well, I don't think doing chores like mop and vacuum will hurt you.

In fact at the late stage of pregnancy, it is advisable to move around alot to allow easier labor.

  3. I guess so...as long as you're not bleeding..

just be carefull in weighting heavy things..

  4. SHHH! don't tell him!

I've been trying to get my husband to believe the same thing but he's not buying it.

Make sure he knows that your 'condition' doesn't improve until about 6 months after the baby is born too!

  5. If you feel comfortable doing it then yes of course, just dont strain yourself . However if your man wants to do it for you I would suggest letting him do it and relax while you can before the baby get there =)

  6. Yes you can - but I would take advantage of it while you can ;)

  7. I wouldn't be complaining lol, let them do it!!

It is quite safe though to vacuum and mop while pregnant. I worked until I was about 34 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I was doing all kinds of things such as pushing full grown people in wheelchairs and I'm only a tiny person lol, and I was doing their housework as they were incapable, and no one did my housework at home but me.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant now after 1 healthy pregnancy and 2 miscarriages so I'm a bit more at risk for miscarriage this time and I still have to do all the housework around here and most of it is way worse than vacuuming and mopping lol.

Enjoy it while it lasts lol

  8. I did all housework with 2 small children while pregnant with my third, kept exercising, everything I normally did up until I went into labor.

  9. I  worked as a housekeeper in a nursing home until I was about 30 weeks pregnant so I think you would be fine...

  10. I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant and I mop, vacuum, do laundry, etc.  I'm always cleaning and theres no harm in it.  Unless your doctor says not to its fine.

  11. you can do whatever u like. u just not suppose to lift heavy things lol

  12. Milk it girl.

  13. OF COURSE, WE'RE NOT INCAPABLE JUST CAUSE YOUR PREGGO LOL

  14. i kno someone who said she couldnt do thoughs things becuz the motion will make the umbical cord wrap around the babys neck! thats bullshit i did thoughs things and my baby was fine through the whole pregnancy!

  15. Well ladies, I'm the boyfriend.  I have been told from my tia's and my nana, that the stress placed on the stomach during mopping/vacuuming can be harmful to the baby.  So I always had that in my head.  You ladies have cleared up this issue in my head and I thank you for easing my mind.

I am still going to do the mopping and stuff though.

  16. that is weird and sweet..yes you can..nothing wrong with it..

  17. Hi .

It is so nice of your boyfriend that dont let you do that ,I am pregnant too ,I do all the mop and vacum, only is a problem if you carry heavy things ,of course you have to take care of yourself and the cleaning little by little ,and everything will be fine .

I hope this  help you .

      good luck

    Congratulations

  18. Let us just think about the women in the past. They would be in the field working, go into labor, lean against a tree, have the baby, tie it on their backs and go back to work. Your not broken, your pregnant. Unless the doctor says your on bed rest or can't do these things. You'll be fine, on the other hand if you get a vacation, take it.

  19. Of course, as long as you're comfortable with it... Just don't overdue it.

  20. Uh, i hope so, I clean 4 houses a day and i'm almost 13 weeks pregnant. I vaccum entire houses and mop. It better be okay. lol

  21. Well that's incredibly sweet of him, but I think the rule is just that you can't lift heavy things.
