I put two fingers on my neck to check for pulse and i pushed them a bit farther and pressed a bit stronger, could that prevent the blood from going to the brain? or would i feel something first? Does the brain make you faint before you damage it in such a way? Is there any damage done to the brain ?

  1. Constant pressure can. Heres an example:

Get a drink, and use a straw. Suck some liquid into the straw, now pinch the middle of it with your fingers while still sucking.

Same thing happens when you pinch a blood vein.

You can find where to check for a pulse exactly on wikipedia i'm sure.

  2. if we were that delicate people would be dropping dead all over from turtlenecks, necklaces, and boyfriends hugging us too tightly.
