Can priests make other liquids "holy"?

I know they can bless water making it holy, but what about other liquids? Can they make stuff like beer or motor oil holy?

  1. Priests have the authority to bless food, homes, automobiles, and other things, too.

    Blessed salt lasts a lot longer than holy water, and is particularly good for scattering around the perimeter of homes.

    Add blessed salt to holy water, and you have a great, long lasting, easy to apply, all purpose solution that drives off evil spirits, and keeps them away for months.

  3. Yes, they also make the holy oils holy thru their priestly blessing. We use the holy oils as sacramentals for anointing the sick, baptism and confirmation.

He can also make Hoyl Oil, but not the kind you use on you motorcycle.  All these are done for ritual purposes only.  One cannot make holy things that are for ordinary day-to-day use because that would contradict the meaning of holiness.  Holy really means -reserved for a particular purpose, set aside for certain functions.
