Can products bought on Amazon be sold only on Amazon?

I have a full volume set of a popular British comedy that was given to me, bought on Amazon. If I wish to sell it, do I have to go through Amazon again, or can I sell it any way I like ?

If you bought a car at Honda would you have to sell it at a Honda dealer when you wished to get rid of it. In other words you can sell it where ever you want to. Ebay, garage sale.

Nope, you can sell it anywhere you want! :) eBay, barnesandnoble.com , used book store, a garage sale... You could even trade it at http://www.swaptree.com .
