Recently, while over at a friend's house, we played ps2 and used my memory card. A few days afterward, the controllers on my friends ps2 went out, but later fixed themselves. My friend's father is conclusive that it was my memory card that corrupted the controllers. While this sounds completely idiotic, could it be possible?

  1. nooo man using a memory card on another console wont do any harm

thats why you can take them out ;]

  2. No.......

  3. doubt it. I don't even think the ps2 has flash memory so it is  downright impossible. Random things happen, and stranger things have happened.

  4. That happened to me 2 days ago! My controller's O button (Circle) got pushed in and stuck all of a sudden. When I removed the memory card, the controller's O button got unstuck and as much as I try to get it stuck again, It wont. When i put the memory card back in while playing It got stuck again. So yes it is possible that its the memory card that does it.

  5. no theres no connection betten the controler and the memory card its just a damaged controler ps2 controllers can sometimes get damaged pretty easly and they go of while there pugged the only thing that gets corrupted is your game save files in your memory card
