  1. No you can only activate a set quick play spell on your opponents turn. However, you cannot set a quickplay spell and play it on the same turn it was set. For this reason quickplay spells are a lot like traps.

  2. yes you can quickplay are called quickplay b/c they can be played whenever you want to activate them.

they dont need to be set one turn and they can be played from your hand durring your opponets turn.

  3. Think Of Quikplay cards as trap cards. They have to be set first but they can be activated on your opponents turn.

  4. Its ok everyone needs help in the begining, and no you can't directly from your hand, they have to be set.

  5. no it cant be activated from your hand during your opponents turn, also if its set it has to be set for one turn to be able to activate, like a trap. so if you set and your opponent destroys it before teh end of your turn via dust tornado or mystic space typhoon, then you cant activate it. it becomes important in advance play when everyone is countering

EDIT: directly from the upperdeck gameplay faq, that noob was pwnt, go back and RELEARN THE GAME!!

"You can chain Quick-Play Spell Cards from your hand as long as it is during your turn.

You can also Set a Quick-Play Spell Card during your Main Phase 1 or 2. Once you Set a Quick-Play Spell Card, you cannot activate it that turn (similar to a Trap Card) but can activate it on any subsequent turn. (This rule does not apply to normal Spell Cards; you may Set "Raigeki" during your turn and still activate it that same turn)."
