Can "Boot-cut" pants pass off as "Emo Pants" on a guy?

I bought some black Calvin Klein pants with the boot cut. I'm wondering if they can pass off as emo pants, or should they be tighter? Thanks.

It depends because usually "emo pants" are tight at the ankle, while boot cut are looser and the bottom flares out more.
