Can "u.s. postal service" send your package to a person on an exact date?

i'm ordering something from the u.s. (im in philippines). the company said they use u.s. postal service. i want to receive my package on an exact date(becuz that's the only tym i'll be home). can they tell u.s. postal service to give the package to me on an exact date?

  1. You can arrange that, but it's not guaranteed.


  2. i really don't think so. the best thing you could do is require a signature, so it will not be left at the door if you are not there to sign for it. USPS is not the best for shipping because the tracking system is a joke and almost worthless. i would require a signature, or have it shipped to the address of a neighbor you trust who will hold it for you.

  4. why not ask your friends help you receive it if you ar not at home?
